Coolant and fluid is aerated through the cyclone’s vortex, not only prolonging the lifetime of coolants but also reducing the frequency of required tank cleaning. Contaminated fluid is pumped into the VDF separator unit creating centrifugal forces that push solid contaminants into the cyclone’s walls. Gravity then forces the heavier “dirty solid” particles downwards, while the lighter fluid enters a vortex in the center pulling it upwards and exiting as “clean fluid”.
